I am a Visual Arts student from Canada going into my fifth (and last) year of undergrad. I like to lift weights, do yoga, cook healthy food, and eat lots of chocolate.

Hokay so. I lifted today. Although I walked foreeeeever to find a decently priced walk-in gym! Ended up going to one of the universities around town and got a day pass for 8 bucks! I’m most likely going to get a membership here for the summer. Aside from rusty cable machines that didn’t want to move, they had a pretty good free weight setup going on. And it was about the size of the entire first floor of my home gym. And there was more than one squat rack. And it was pretty empty! Not used to ANY of this.

The only downside, they don’t have racks for just holding the lighter plates and I couldn’t find any 10s. Whaaaaat a shame, I had to squat 95 instead of 80, haha. It felt good actually, and I’m happy with how my shoulder is feeling. It still gets achey sometimes, and I had trouble sleeping because of it a couple nights ago (but I’m also on a new pillow and mattress), but my rows were more comfortable AND I did a painless bench press today! WOO!

45 lb x 7 reps (+45 pts)
95 lb x 5 reps (+57 pts)

Couldnt find 10s to do 85, so i threw on 25s. Felt good!
Bent Over Barbell Row:
50 lb x 5 reps (+27 pts)

50 lb x 5 reps (+27 pts)
Felt better than last time, but I’m gonna stay on this weight next time.

I CAN BENCH AGAIN!! It may not be much, but this was the first time benching since my crash that I didn’t feel pain.
